Zenithink password

I have a M3C91-8GB-1a-H3-sa095 ( A friends)

How do I do a factory reset?
My friend gave it to another of his pals for a loan and he put a password on it when he was drunk, now he can't remember it.
So I have to do a factory restore.
Normally with Android tablets you hold down the VOLUME + and ON at the same time but it just wants to do an upgrade from TF.
Is that the only way to do a restore? Surely not.
Also I can't find a rom image to download to put on a TF card.
I know it's Android 4 that's on it. Will another Rom image do?

I would try calling the tablet OEM support line to see if they can assist with a factory reset using the hardware buttons on the tablet.

Thanks - Nothing works - always goes to the upgrade screen.

I've sent them an email. I don't fancy calling China.

No reply from emails to Zenithink.
There are no roms for this tablet on there site, you click on other tablets and it's listed but it just goes to a blank page.
So if anyone knows where I can get a rom image from it would be much appreciated.
I've tried some other of the roms from the site but they don't work with this tablet. (It has be one that installs from flash card.)
