Accidently deleted google talk - please help!

I recovered a bricked wowpad. then did the Z4 root and titanium backup, somehow deleted google talk, marketplace won't work either. I did a factory reset and is still coming up with same error. When tablet starts it has com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly
I am wondering if I do a firmware update would it fix my problem? I am running deb-r2.1.1480.
Any help would be much appreciated!

much frustration and reading and clicking and downloading....I have downloaded a file manager and apk files to sd card. Works perfectly!
