Got lucky and picked up mine on Boxing Day sale, after missing get it for same price earlier in December. They must have sold a TON of them lately.

Prospective buyers should go through the reviews. The reported power button problem is not fiction. Long waits for warranty work is not fiction. I own one and it is in the shop. They do work well while they work.

I think they are clearing out stock on the LP1 - the Le Pan support site doesn't even have firmware files available for it, they are dropping support as fast as they can.

All I'm saying is that this tablet, which has worked well for many, is now available for 174 Canuck bucks. It's always buyer be aware and do your research.

pogoj, the tablet is back in stock, but price has moved to $199 - so maybe no clearing out yet.

It makes a wonderful eReader device, too, better buy than a monochrome Kindle for around $120.
