Android 2.3.3 will not play Netflix

My child has a coby kyros with android 2.3.3 and we currently have a netflix account and I can not get it to play. I get a new version of application is found, you must upgrade to be able to run application. When you press ok it upgrades and Netflix still does not play. A very frustrating morning so far. Thanks Santa!!! Please help I know the answer is simple,

Actually, depending on the Coby model you have, it might not be a simple solution. Some don't have the hardware required to run higher applications.

It is coby kyros Model MID8125 with android 2.3.3
