Android/Asus tablet and Skype

I have tried to research using Skype on my Asus Android tablet but what I have read is that it does not work. Has anyone else had any luck with Skype. Skype works seamlessly on an iPad. Does anyone have Skype working on an Asus tablet?

I have had Skype working with video chats since August 2011 on my ASUS Transformer. Skype works on all ASUS tablets AFAIK.
