When will this device be off back-order? Does anyone know?

Last I heard, the retailers didn't predict the demand correctly and Archos is scrambling to fill orders to the retailers and sell a small handful of them directly through their online store. If you follow them on twitter or facebook you'll know when they have more in stock. But be quick as they often sell out within a few hours.

Wow a tweet 22 hours ago and the product is no longer available....Can this be true?

I am repeating myself froma prior thread but will say it again. This is like the Tickle me Elmo of a few years ago. Why else are there people buying a $300USD 8GbArchos 101 for IPad prices of $530+. When in March, they will be sold for 289.

Ok I bit the bullet and bought one on ebay for 370.00. not too bad. Hope it is worth the money.

Even at xmas deals can be found. I just brought a Archos 70 for £160 in the UK.....BARGIN!!!
