I purchased the Tablet yesterday afternoon - it will not keep a charge for more than a couple hours even when not in use.
Can someone give me some tips, I need to have it plugged in all the time.

I'd start by lowering your screen brightness as much as you can and charge your tablet for at least four hours, over night would be even better.
