before i root .......

just got my tablet ...... its still charging.

could i update to the latest Viewsonic software, or might that cause problems when rooting later on?

just wanted to mess around with the pre-loaded stuff for a while, and do some more reading of the forums before i root it.

I did NOT update the stock ROM. I've tried all ROMs and haven't had any issues yet.

I got my G-Tab yesterday and did not do the update. After it had charged I rooted and installed TNT, the tablet is awesome. I'm glad I purchased it.....
