Can anyone help me with a problem I have with my A1CS X220 tablet?

I got the tablet this week and it was fine for the first couple of days but it got to a point where I was trying to open apps and it was coming up with a message saying 'Unfortunately _____ has stopped working'. It happened to almost every app I had so i reset the tablet and re-downloaded them and it was fine. Earlier I typed up a word document on QuickOffice Pro and when I try and open the document that I created it is saying that QuickOffice has stopped. If i go off quick office and try to open the document through Astro's File Manager it tells me that the file type was not found. i really need help, my main reason for buying this tablet was for university work purposes and if it keeps doing this I won't be able to.
