cant watch video!

What format do i need to put movies in to watch? and do i need to put them in a specific folder? ive tried putting them on my tablets memory as well as my SD card. NOTHING WORKS! helps me please

well are they mp4? if not then convert them to mp4 or install real player and that will play most movie formats

I have played both AVI and MKV on my tablet successfully, however for the MKV to work I had to change the extension to "MP4".

To play movies, I usually use ES File explorer to browse to where my movies are at on my SD card, then click on them, ES asks me if I want to play using the ES player or the built in player.

what file are they in when you find them? ive converted them to mp4 and i can still hear it theres just no video... there was a trailer on it when i got it that did play so i know its possible!

did you change the output for video to HDMI?
if so change it back, it cant display video to both HDMI and its own screen at teh same time (the desktop displays just fine)
(check in 'Settings' -> 'Sound & Settings' -> 'Output Select' -> 'None')
