I was donated a 7" China Allwinner A20 dual core tablet. It has a build "wing-k70 eng 4.2.2 JDQ39". The unit has a a built in host port, but it seems that onlthing reconized is a USB drive. Has anyone been able to place a custom ROM on one of these tablets? I am looking for support for CP210X USB drivers and drivers to support a sprint 3G dongle.
It is known as a AM721 and an A70x.

Any help or direction would be great!!

I'm looking for the same thing. The firmware I downloaded from the site was corrupted for me. I have the Ampe A78, but has Allwinner A20.

So I did some research and apparently PhoenixSuite is going to be the tool to use, the only problem is that you can' update the software to 1.06, which is the English version. I had to keep it on 1.003 Beta, which was the only one that actually picked up my device on the computer, and I'm using X64 Windows 8.1 Pro. I also, found some ADB Drivers. My tablet is the Ampe A78, but its the A20 version. I'm hearing that the RK3066 is great, but battery life SUCKS!!! A can anyone do a comparison by the way?
