Coby Tablet 8042 Booting

I started my tablet and it took forever. I kept getting a play store error and I couldnt get my wifi on. The play store error kept coming back. I thought restarting might work. Now I cant get it to boot fully? I have tried to boot into recovery. holding down volume down key and then power for 15 seconds..didnt work. held down volume down then volume up and then power..didnt work. what should be my next try?

Its actually 9042. Anyone know what my next move should be? Update: For a little more information I followed tutorial in "read first developmental". I backed up initial and then backed up after I added play store. I also remember the other day my tablet froze and I shut it off. That is when I turned it on next day and store was giving me errors. I have backups and everything Im supposed to in the article I followed. I can get my tablet to root but it keeps saying superuser failed. I cannot get it to boot into recovery.
