Compass working?

How about a compass? Anyone get a compass working on this POS? I may return mine since im very displeased with app compatibity and performance. I really dont want to " hack" my device. I want something that is good out of the box. I should have taken the acer and gave this one to the wife

I have the same problem with my Polaroid PTAB7200. However, I think that this tablet does not have a magnetometer that can read the earth's magnetic field. I tried to calibrate it using the figure 8 method. It still does not work. I hope someone can tell me if this is the readon that the COMPASS app will not work.

I also downloaded SKEYE Astronomy and it will not work.

Any suggestions?

Not sure about PTAB7200, but none of Kyros models have built-in magnetometer (or GPS for that matter) as far as I know.

If the Polaroid tab is supposed to have one, then I think you must contact their customer support service or ask in the forum area related to this model so someone else who actually has one can help.
