Connection with Internet stick

Hello, I have a China Ipad, and I wondering can you connect this device with a portable Internet modem. I live in Kenya and need the Ipad to connect to the internet with this device. (Safaricom modem)

I'm yet to hear a success story from trying to use USB modems with any China tablet in the western world, no matter what tablet, no matter what modem. They are made for the "local" China market, and rumored to work with Chinese modems.

you can try buying a 3g modem if they have 3g where you live but make sure your tablet is set up to work with a 3g modem
