I got myself an excellent PDF reader app. However when I download PDF files into my tablet they seem to get lost. The screen says download started. Then it stops. The file can not be found. Does anybody know about downloading PDFs?

That shouldn't be a problem at all. What are you using to download them? The reason I ask is because it could be a browser issue and stuck in the browser's download area or the download folder or it could be a problem with that site. If using a browser you may want to try a change to a different one.

For Firefox: Go to Options, General, Downloads, Save files to.

For Chrome: Go to Settings, Show advanced settings, Downloads, Download location.

For IE: Go to Tools, View downloads, View and track your downloads, Options, Default download location.

Don, you didn't say which reader app you were using. The Adobe Acrobat DC - PDF Reader brings up any PDF files that you have, on your device. It'll also show you where they are located.
Have a look - - - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.reader&hl=en

I'm using Pro PDF because I often use the tab upside down and Adope doesn't flip over. I have to use it upside down so I can keep the power plugged in while it's on my stand.
Thanks for the suggestions about download location.
