I found out just the other day and did not find this information on the forums

The devices share identical casing and touchscreen components, and are both advertised as a 7" iPhone 4. But one is ARM11, and the other Cortex A8.

Also I think D10 = Android 2.1, and A8 = Android 2.2...

Linux version 2.6.29 (cbsmbg@CBServer) (gcc version 4.3.1 (GCC) ) #232 Tue Jan 18 16:32:47 CST 2011

If you nuked the device with wrong firmware, here a working firmware: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
Wrong fw means, the screen won't work, or device not booting. FWDN can help you out..

True... also the D10 version comes with a resistive screen in comparison to the Dropad A8 who has a capacitive screen (true multi touch).
