You would start by reading the various articles and threads in the many forums that cover this topic. We also need specific details on your tablet before we can help. Please click the "Questions" link in my signature to be taken to the Q&A thread on Rooting, Flashing and the related topics.

Good luck,

For those trying to update your firmware to a more uptodate android system. It is possible but not recommended . it can make it highly unstable. Trust me i have tried i friend a ZTE tablet trying... I run 2.3 on my phone and on my son's tablet and wanted to play games that run on 3.0 and i found after googling for days that it just wasnt worth doing it again. if you go to software update on your device and it says you have the most up to date software for your device then i would leave it at that. there will never be anymore updates for your model and as far as i know, any device under 3.0 cannot be updated without breaking manufacture warranty or even in some cases "bricking" the phone.. (making it a simple paper weight by frying the system)
