Flytouch II - another variant?

I have a FT II with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of flash, and 2 TF slots as
well as the other standard connectors (RJ45, 2xUSB, HDMI).
The OS is android 2.1 although the box claims android 2.2.

Question: is it possible to upgrade to 2.2 (or higher)?
If so, which ROM image to use?

I bricked it by trying te reflash, but got confused by different instructions in russian (do not speak russian at all). Any help would be welcome.

I appear to have exactly the same model!
I would also like to upgrade to Android 2.3.4 or higher so that I can connect to an Arduino host.
Did you have any success with your upgrade?
I would really appreciate any help.
Have you discovered the manufacturer's wrbsite, or any other reliable source of updates?

My touch screen does not work.
If you cannot get yours going again, would you consider selling it to me so I can use the touch screen?
