From mcl rom 201 for 4.1.1 to mcl rom 103 for 4.0.4

I want to go back from mcl rom 201 (4.1.1) to mcl rom 103 (4.0.4).

How are the steps? The tablet is already rooted.

Do I need to install a2109_cwmrecovery-6.0.1.9c.img ? I had installed a2109_cwmrecovery-6.0.1.9d.img for 4.1.1 already.

First you install the ROM, then you flash the cwm version for that ROM. I think it's simply:

1. Wipe data / factory reset
2. Install MCL 103.
3. Flash the 'c' version of cwm.

Are you sure it is not the other way round, first cwm and then mcl?

How do I wipe the data? Do I have to use Volume+ / Power on to get to the wipe menu? See screenshots, there are a lot of errors. Can I ignore them? After I have done the wipe and do a reboot, I see my old system with all the installed apps.

Hmm... I hate to say this, but first flash the .9d cwm just to be sure. Then, enter recovery -- yes, use power + vol up. Then format the devlog (I think that's the name). Then do a factory reset. After that, install 4.0.4. Then go back to fastboot to flash the .9c cwm. Formatting the devlog should get rid of some of those errors, but others look more serious. This is my best suggestion at this point, and it should be a relatively quick process.

I assume I deleted superuser and I had to install it again.

I decided _not_ to downgrade and try 4.1.1 again, if I have wifi-problems with a fresh install. Since the new install I didn't have the wifi-problems anymore. To answer your question see my quoted link.

I run the JB cw_recovery on both ICS and JB bootloaders without issue. So there may not be a need for the ICS cw recovery any more.

ATTENTION: A while afterwards USB-debugging / development options could not be activated anymore, which is very critical, since you need it to flash the device.

I could flash from MCL ICS to stock ICS by pressing VolumUp + Power (still no usb-debugging)
Factory reset of ICS from the options menu (still no usb-debugging)

And then I tried a few times to upgrade to Stock 4.1.1 over the air with the menu. Often I got a network error, but then the Update from Stock 4.0 to 4.1 worked. (still no usb-debugging)
After a factory reset in the options menu of JB (now) I can activate USB debugging again, but it is unrooted now.

My tablet behaves very weird. Maybe the internal flash is broken. Somtimes writing of the flash memory doesn't end, eg after a download from the playstore. It stays at 100% for minutes. After a reboot it works without problemls. Unfortunately similar things happen again and again.

So at the end I landed at Jelly Bean again, but with an unrooted Stock ROM. Let's see how it goes on.

Then I rebooted. I heared the Nvidia-sound and saw these "animated circles" but it never ended.

So I did again the 2 commands above with my linux box (never disconnected the USB-cable)

And I installed a2109_cwmrecovery-6.0.1.9c_md5_2a36e65e8e5289c67f59d1570eb9e3e6.img and rebooted.

The tablet still didn't go on further than "animated circles", same es before.

Now I did on my linux box:

Now the tablet asked me like in a new setup. Maybe I had to wipe at the beginning and this was the reason why it didn't start to the end.
