Haipad Mid701-- can't connect to secure wifi

Hello! I have a Haipad MID 701. I'm having a problem connecting to the secure Wifi at college. When I try to connect it doesn't ask for my user name and password, it just asks for a password, which isn't enough to get connected. The wireless connection at home works beautifully. Any suggestions?
