Having issues...

I tried to upgrade using the SD update and screwed something up in the process. I tried multiple walk-thrus on this site with no success. I've done the IUW USB flash and rom process install a few times and it all went smoothly, but I get stuck on the "android..." at boot up. SD updates seem to start to work, but I get the "Take off SD and reboot" within 8 secs of it starting.

Is there a process / file that I should start with to get a clean slate?

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you do the burntool technique?

I've tried the usb connection thru IUW, the 704mb SD WinHex method, and the straight SD update.zip. No luck on any, hence the question on getting it back to a baseline that will allow a clean update/upgrade.

Unfortunately I have no recovery, so let that be a lesson to all that don't do a recovery before doing anything.

I was about to give and decided to try one of Uplade3's suggestions from another post. Stragulus's Froyo NAND ROM for Flytouch2. After installing v4, which ended with a flashing green screen I noticed a v5. Installed and working, whew..
