help! can't seem to get Gmail for my 7015 kyros.

Hi, all of you pro's. I've done so many things to get google gmail too many now that i'm confused. I have a google account. Just when I almost have it set. When it asks for a phone no. (which I don't have on the tab) It shuts me out. I even called got a code #. it didn't recognize that when entered. Sent them a note and there reply wait 24 hrs. And now my original email name is not avail. because it's in the data base. Can anyone please offer advice pollydroid

Do you have the GMail app on the tablet? And do you have a GMail account? It's not the same thing as a Google account. Go to gmail.com on your computer and sign up for one. Then sign into the GMail app on the tablet with your login info. I don't recall being asked for a phone number. I just logged into the GMail app with my GMail account info and I was all set.

No,I don't have that app. I realized that by this morn. Do I get the app from google? Thx
