Help!! Failed UD install, how to get I get back to some OS?

I have 2 SD cards to work with, one wiht the backup of my lastest rooted 1.1 ROM, but how do I restore?

Put your backup 1.1 ROM on there once the image is burned. Put the card in, boot into CWR and restore your backup.

Well THAT was fun, lol - or not. I couldn't restore my backup so I just moved up to 1.2 and rooted it.
