Help Needed

I just bought a new tablet (9" Capacitive A13 Android 4.0 Tablet 8GB 512MB WIFI Camera Flash 11.1 MID). And I am having trouble connecting it to my house wifi. I have entered the password correctly but it isn't connecting. Its says "saved, secured by wep." It does connect when I use the tethering option off of my phone but this cannot be an all day everyday solution. HELP!!!

At least one forum member disagrees with this statement but it has been known to be a problem on some tablets. Change your security from WEP to WPA/WPA2. I have a link in my sig below with some additional WiFi communication problem solutions.
