I bought a Vizio VTAB1008 from Walmart the other day. They told me that it was the last one they had, and that it was their demo model. I can't get it unlocked from 'demo' mode. I have no access to my privacy or security settings, and every time I turn it off, it keeps turning itself back on in 'demo' mode. I was told that there is firmware for this, but where do I get it, and how do I put it on my tablet? Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!

If I were you I would call Vizio and ask them what can be done.
I hear about stores doing this. BB did it recently with a different tablet, and that post is here on the forum some where. If it were me I would be walking back in to the store with the tablet and getting my money back, making Them make it right or making a big fuss in the store and making them wish they had fixed the situation.
It is total BS for them to do this and not fix the problem.
However either place should have a resolution for the problem.
