Help please

So I have a new tablet that I purchased from a friend, there is no documentation in the box. I know it is a mid epad 7" but that is the extent of what I know about it. I can't find much on the net about it and don't know if I should root it and if I was going to do that how you would go about it.

Anyone have some information on this particular tablet? I don't even know what version of android is on it and can't find it anywhere on the tablet.

I never said that I had to, I'm new to the android tablets and was trying to get some information. That is all, if you want to be rude please do so on another thread.

I have since found out that I have a via8650 epad but didn't get the data cable that came with it. Any ideas on where I can purchase one? Or what type of cable it is so I can look for one?

Hi...
I just recieved my Ner MID 7" Tablet and when i turned it on it has a buzzing noise
coming from wat looks like the fans inside..and im pretty sure its not
suppose to be buzzing like that...What is going on??? Please Help!!!
