Help required for vigo 9.7

Can anyone please explain to me how to read ebooks on the vigo 93.7?

I have tried downloading from the kindle app but although it said that something was sent to me, in fact nothing downloaded at all.

I have tried transferring an ebook from my laptop which is compatible with kindle, but I cannot open that either.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am getting so frustrated.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
