Help rooting, please?

I know that there may be a billion threads out here on how to root tablets, but this is sort of a special case.

I have a china tablet (it was cheap, okay? ), and can't find any info on how to root it. It is the Teclast P76A. (here's the link to the company webpage)

I can't find any reviews, or help on rooting the device. Heck, I don't even know if this device can be rooted. I am new to the android rooting world and don't know if only specific devices can be rooted, or if it's a universal process. Do I need a certain type of "root host" (you know how the iPhone has redsn0w, greenp0ison, etc.) or is there just one main one? I understand the risks for rooting in general but I don't know if I can root this device. Can someone help me out?
