If you are in the market for an ultra-affordable tablet, you might want to head into your nearest Walmart. Hisense just officially launched two new super-cheap tablets that are already on sale there. They are the Hisense Sero 7 LT which retails for $99.99 and the Sero 7 PRO for $149.99. Despite their inexpensive price, these tablets have decent specs. Thanks for the timely news. Better late than never, I guess. I posted it on a new thread last night. As I indicated in the post, the tabs are not available in Canadian Walmart stores. Lucky, damn Americans.

I checked Walmart's webpage this afternoon and the Nexus 7, which you reference above, is $249. this week - a "Special Buy" online. That's a difference of $100. Not bad, at all. Almost worth the trip to Buffalo to pick one up, if there are any left.

Very impressive, I also refused to buy Nexus tablets, due to no micro sdcard, I also felt they were over priced.

valid points if you need a camera i dont.hdmi i thought that would be cool on my xoom.i even purchased a cable for the xoom.its been used a hand full of times at most over the past couple years.so those are features i personally dont really need,however an sd card slot is one i wont live without.
