Welcome to the forum, and welcome to ICS.
The stock Browser on ICS does not have a home button. Best way is to open a new tab and then close the current one.
I highly recommend getting ICS Browser+ by Beansoft. It looks and feels like the stock browser, but it is 10 times better (even has a home button).
My biggest niggle with the stock browser, it does not remember the "Request Desktop Site" option. ICS Browser+ does remember it.
