How can i update my mid mi88 android 2.1 so i can get google play?

i cant download any apps through the market anymore
so ive been looking on the internet i need to update to google play but cos of
my android firmware which is 2.1 i cant so if there a way i can update the
firmware ive tried to go through the tablet and it says there is a update but
when i press install all the tablet does is turn off when its meant to restart
and does not do nothing help please!!!!!!!!

Try cm7 for your device or similar device.Search Google for cyanogenmod 7 for tcc8902.
