How do I download to my sd card on a Sylvania Sytabex7-2?

I have a 2g sd card installed on my son's Sylvania Sytabex7-2 Express Plus tablet. However, when I attempt to download anything from the Android App store, it tells me that my sd card is full. When I look at the contents of the sd card, it is NOT full and still has full capacity available.

The user guide for this tablet is totally useless. I'm guessing the tablet has some type of internal memory that is full and it's not reading the actual sd card, but have no idea how to remedy this. Or is it possible to put the android app store on my pc and download the apps to a flashdrive then move them to the sd card in the tablet? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I am completely frustrated.

Do you have apps 2 sd app? If so, and you're stil having problems maybe your sd is damaged or faulty. If you can, try another sd card and see if that works.
