how do i extract a .img firmwar ?

hi there,

i have done some tweaking from prefious firmware's but now i got 1 i cannot get extracted
maybee someone can help me.

this is the file Android Firmware of course i can unpack the rar. then i got the .img file.
I cannot get that extracted who can help me ?

Put a 4GB SD card in your reader and use Win32Disk Imager to write the .img file to the SD card.

okey downloaded the program.
started the program.

program unpacked the image to USB stick.
when i want to read the usb stick :

usb not assasable, do you want to format.

i want to modify the firmware, so i can upgrade the tablet and it is rooted already, good market etc.
how can i read the usb stick now ?
And later, how do i make the firmware a .img file

you should use sdcard, not usb !
