You'll need to purchase an app from the android market such as DocsToGo or QuickOffice. They may have free trial versions so that you can test before you upgrade to the paid full versions.

I do like Picsel Smart Office, it's paid only tho. There are free viewers options, like a DocumentsToGo and ThinkFree Viewer.

Polaris Office are already installed in my Asus TF device, it works well. However, for some highly formatted docs/slides, I found some major error, especially for embedded picture. :)

if you are talking about to open the MA Office files, you can use a software from CHINA called Kingsoft which completely compatible to all MS files.

Olive is free; however functional it is not. It freezes too often and when I played with it, it did not see the external card. Go with one of the major pray applications to reduce stress. I have used DEG for years on the Palm and Windows platform.
