Hi, sombody11. Welcome to the Forum. The only setting you should have to change is on the TV. Switch to HDMI. Oh, and don't forget to have the tablet turned on when you plug it into the television.

Hi Martijn, congratulations on your new tablet and welcome to the forum. Nice to have you as a member of Android Tablets. Some tablets have an On/Off switch for HDMI output somewhere in the settings similar to the On/Off switch for WiFi. On your tablet, it may not be under "display", it might be "output" or something else. If you go through the settings one by one, hopefully, you'll find it. Another possibility is one that I ran into, my HDMI device must already be on and connected before I switch the TV to HDMI input.

Hello again, Martijn.

Further to the tablet information that Spider provided, the manufacturer is South Holdings Industrial Limited, established in 1996 and based in Shenzhen, China, near Hong Kong.

Hy spider! I bought the same tablet last week, but I have a big problem:
i tried to download some apps from appstore but it crasched. So I turned off the tablet and now, when I turn on the tablet it doesn't load the operating system. It stops on the screen All Tech A31 and it doesn't work.

Do you know how can I enter in the recovery mode menu, to do a wipe reset and to reset the factory datas?

thank you so much!

Hi roby.fra.m, congratulations on your new FlyPAD BQ1078 and welcome to the forum. Nice to have you as a member of Android Tablets. I'm not familiar with your particular tablet, but the following works for many of the tablets out there:

Make sure the tablet is OFF.
Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time. (If Volume Up doesn't work, try Volume Down.)
When the Android starts to flash, release the buttons. (It may take a little while.)

If it works, you should be given a list of options that will allow you to wipe and reset back to the factory data. Good luck!

Kind of similar for me. I spent over 2 hours looking around and trying to get this to work. I have a NextBook 8 HD with 8 Gig. I looked in settings over and over and found nothing concerning HDMI. That is how I ended up here. Anyway after reading this thread, I went back to the device and found a button on the upper right corner of the home screen that displayed all the apps on the tablet. There I found an app called HDMIswitch. When I tried that, it would not change to any other format than "Panel".
Finally, I double checked my connection and found the HDMI mini to micro connector was only partially connected. After I forced the connection together, I went back to the HDMIswitch app and viola, it worked. Nothing like a poorly documented main feature. I'm happy. Although it appears that the processor is a little slow as video quality ranges from sharp to poor and I know its not the WiFi because the laptop on the same network works fine.
