i have a 7 inch Chinese Android tablet

Model number : MID_Serials
Android version:2.3
Base-bad version: 11.813.01.04.00
kernel version: 2.6.35.7 Mid serials #509 Thu Feb 23 01:30:30 EST 2012
Build number: MID serials 2.3 Gingerbread 20111201.191828


when i go to settings the update it say this is the last version

can i update to Android 4 ?

The update has to sent by the device manufacturer. You can't manually update it.

I think that he means some kind of custom firmware (rom) or something like that.
