Initial charge on Coby Kryos 7015?

Hi Folks, first post on here and new to tablets,so I'll try to be clear as possible. I received my 7015 yesterday, it powered up ok and I saw the battery indicator was yellow so I shut it down and charged for about 15 hours. Today after powering on tablet the screen is full of lines and jumping around crazy. When it clears up enough to see ,the battery indicator is still yellow and powers down after a few seconds. Did I get a dud out of the box or has anyone experienced this before? Adapter outputting 5.28v.

sounds like you may have gotten a bad one. Mine has never done that new or run down to nothing. Maybe try doing the firmware update. Maybe it will fix that.

It was indeed a faulty 7015 and Dell sent a replacement one that works fine. In the process of rooting.

Yes I bought it during their boxing day sale for $ 159.99 including shipping. Got it rooted successfully ,now to figure out the mystery of clockwork.
