Is the Z's Interface the Same as Other Androids?

Since my ZTPad (AKA Zenithink) didn't come with an Android manual, I've been learning by trial and lots of errors. I still haven't figured how to exit an app other than by dragging it from the window list.

So if I find some generiic Android docs, will they apply to my Z?
