Limiting Startup Programs

Hi , I'm quite new to this site, and to tablets. I have cheap generic 7" tablet. There are a couple of things I'd like to ask.

Firstly, is there a way to stop certain programs loading on startup, as in the way you can use "msconfig" in Windows.

Secondly is there a cache held somewhere of visited websites, such as you have "history" in Windows, that can be cleaned out?

Thanks

Stew

Welcome to the forum
Android sure isn't Windows.;) Without rooting the best you can do is go to the app manager is settings, scroll to all and see if there is an option for some of those apps to uninstall but very few will probably have that option. It usually isn't needed in Android anyway as it handles memory very well. No msconfig alternative.

Most of the browsers have settings to delete history. You should be able to find that in the settings options in the browser.
