lots of apps gone missing not sure what to do pls help

Hi, I turned on my tablet and it started up normally but then it wait that the launcher was no responding, so I restarted my tablet, again started up fine but I then realised that a lot of my apps, mainly the one I had when I bought it, where GONE, including YouTube, playstore, Skype and angry birds space that also came free with the tablet, but there are lots more that are missing too. I just want to know what to do, should I do factory reset or some thing else... pls help!!!!!

I'm guessing you have checked the app drawer where ALL the apps are listed to see if they are there? If they aren't there the factory reset would be a good idea. Keep in mind that you need to save your data if possible first either on a microSD card, in the cloud or on a PC.
