So for those of you that haven't already found Google Maps invaluable, Version 5.7 aims to change that with just a TON of new capabilities.
First off, they now have integrated Transit Info from over 400 cities worldwide showing schedules, routes, transfer info, all based on your GPS data. No worries for the Tube, BART, Subway or whatever you use underground either because Engadget is reporting that the system will cache necessary info before it loses signal...wow!
They have also improved Photo Place integration and better directions and integration, and some other little bits and tricks for the navigationally challenged. All in all, VERY cool.
