Memory

I read some threads talking about memory and what is read 1st, 2nd, etc. So my question is? If I add memory to my Flytouch 3 superpad 2, should it be in the micro slot or with a regular SDHC using a USB reader. Would one over the other be faster?

We will be doing a lot of photos so I know extra memory will be good.
