MID9742 won't charge with custom ROM

I updated my MID9742 with the Mobiz V2 ROM and whilst it worked it wouldn't charge either through USB or the mains? It was also quite slow compared to stock but maybe that is to be expected.

Any idea what the issue could be?

Okay I realised I hadn't flashed the boot file and now it is all working fine.

Although videos play upside down - anyone know a fix for this?
