need help with my tablet please

Bought this tablet off of ebay from shenzen china.
256 mb ram
Model number- generic
Firmware- 1.6
Kernel version- 2.6.29-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirty
Build number- WMT2.0_105
Looking for an upgrade to 2.1 and actual android market place with rooting help also anything to boost speed and performance.

Any help appericiated.

Um your tablet probably wont be able to update to 2.1 but you might be able to root it so what tablet do you have exactly
