New To Nook Color

I purchased a new Nook Color about a month ago - LOVE IT! I would love to get more apps from here, but when I try to download them, it says they are not supported on my nook - it is the newest Nook with internet access, email, - all the good stuff. What do I need to do to get apps that are not directly on BN website?
