With my Nook-Color ? Cyanogen7 rc2, Nook Color tools seems to be missing.

Is there a Cyanogen equal ? Can I download NC tools ? Do I need NC Tools at all.

I did seem to need it when rooted with AutoNooter back before the 1.2 upgrade.
I'm new at this; I need all the help I can get.

I do love my Nook/Cyanogen7

Nope, not needed in CM7. All Nook Color Tools does is get you into the Nook Color Settings. With CM7 all you need to do is use the Menu Button from the Home Screen or the Settings shortcut app that they include. With CM7 you no longer have Nook Color (or its settings), you have a CM7 Android tablet.

CM7 is not stable - RC2 is a release candidate and is about a few months old - suggest you install at least stable 7.02

I think CM7 7.0.3 is out as well. It supposedly fixes security issues of 7.0.2? (FYI CM7 7.0.3 needs to be used with CM7.0.2 Google Apps)

Will Cyanogen automatically update over wifi ?
Will my 7.02 magically change to 7.03 ?

Thanks,
still learning,

get the new CM7 zip and flash it from CWR.

This I haven't learned yet.
The pay version sounds easier for me.

Thanks,
Mike

Just did the pay thing but not much changed.
It says Encore now along with 7.02.
I hadn't investigated the "ROM Manager" before.
Wow !
That does open a lot of new doors.

Jeeze, not enuff time, never enuff tyme.

Thanks, you guys are great,
Mike

With all this discussion of 7.0.3, I think I'd like to update this myself. I saw that the old uboot files dont play nice with Dalingrins new 2.6.32 kernel. I'm using the dual boot bios on emmc from before the BN1.2 revision came out, so I'm assuming my uboot is the old uboot file and wont work with the newer Kernel. Which of Dalingrin OC kernel do I need? Is it posible to update my dual bios uboot file?

**Edit**

found the answer to my own question, for dual boot files with 7.0.3 I need to update the uboot file via rookie's script and then use Dalingrin 4/24 OC file..
