Nook Resetting on Its Own?

Hi guys new to the forum, and freaking out a little. I have the Nook Color and I was reading it on the train, when the screen basically turned off... I plugged it in when I got home thinking it must have been the battery, and now it is doing an odd loopy thing... it turns on says the read forever thing and then says clearing data... it goes through that and then says it is installing restoring original factory image and then it goes black again and then does it all over again.... Any advice is appriciated...

Hi Bambilicious, welcome to the forum. Nice of you to become a member of Android Tablets. As edap suggested, try doing a factory reset yourself. Go to http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/android-tablet-q/62022-how-do-i-factory-reset-my-tablet.html and follow the instructions in Post #5.
