Great offer, but will it work on older Android tabs? I went to download it, & had to d/l Amazon android app first. This will not run!

Error Message Reads:

The Application Appstore (process com.amazon.venezia) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

I have done the following:
Re-boot of Tablet.
Signed in to my Amazon Account.
Re-downloaded & Installed the App.

Still no joy.

Does look good offer, but will it work on older Android tabs?

"Minimum Operating System: Android 1.5", is the only restriction they show in the app description. If it's not compatible with your tablet, you should get a message when you try to download it.

@ Duckfan I just noticed you're from the UK. As I recall, someone recently posted saying Amazon apps are not available for download there because of some tax imposed by the government. That's all I remember of the post and I can't find it. Hopefully, someone else will come along here and explain what the problem is.
