Instructions
1. Unzip the file.
2. Make sure the folder name is called: dload
3. There is an app file and cfg file, make sure both are in the dload folder.
4. Copy the dload folder onto a microSD card that has at least 500MB free space.
5. Power-off the S7.
6. Insert the microSD card into S7, then power-on the unit. Update will start automatically.
7. Wait for the unit to finish the upgrade and reboot.
8. Enjoy!

Ok, I downloaded the file "s7_dload.rar" from the website that the link sent me to. It doesn't appear to be a zip file after I download it. I did put it on a micro sd card, and tried to boot it up on my tablet. Of course it didn't do anything. So what am I missing? Why isn't the download a zip file with the 2 files mentioned in it? Just trying to find an easy way to update my Best Buy s7 before I trade it in.

Thanks for the link to download 7-zip. I now downloaded it, unzipped it and installed it. Yippee!!!!! I am so happy now. Might not trade it in after all. Went to see the new Android honeycomb tablets and they still don't have the ability to do hulu. (not hulu+) anybody having any luck?

Has anybody compared the BB 2.2 ROM to the Indo 2.2? I'm wondering especially about the microphone volume. That's the only thing that's not working on Indo 2.2 as good as or better than the original 2.1 that came with my BB S7-104.

I used the Indo S7-201u rom until I found the Best Buy S7-201w rom 2.2.2(wi-fi only). They are pretty much the same except the Indo rom has a dialer app. for phone capabilities.

Sadly... I do not know what 2.2.2 version came on my S7-104 before I flashed it with this BB 2.2.1 ROM. I find this 2.2.1 to be much more buggy than the previous ROM I had, but I do not know what ROM I had, so I didn't switch back yet.

Differences I have observed with 2.2.2 and this BB 2.2.1

1. Screen dimmer barely makes and changes in the BB 2.2.1 - The other version would dim it very much, and it was great to read (e-book) at night in bed without disturbing my wife. Now it's way too bright, and hurts my eyes reading at night even at the lowest setting.

2. The icons for games put on internal SD only show the default android icon. Everything worked fine on 2.2.2

3. The S7 restarts itself often more. It seems that is restarts most often when I turn the wifi back on after being off when I take the S7 out of the house.

4. The call volume that comes out of the speakers is very low. I don't know if this is different between the 2 versions.

@BMWM5, Which languages are supported in this firmware.
I am looking for a firmware for my bestbuy Huawei S7 slim tablet with Dutch language supported.
The build number that is installed on my tablet is S7-201wV100R001C207B010.

Problem solved.

This version has many languages and the Dutch language is one of them.
