Hello guys,

I just received a tablet from a friend (Allview SpeedCity, which is a rebranded Onda v701) who flashed some kind of Onda ROM on it. The tablet is stuck into a bootloop and i can't access recovery. I tried to flash the official Onda v701 ROM with AML BurningTool, but the application doesn't see the tablet when i connect it. However, it appears in Device Manager as "Onda USB USB Device" twice. I searched though forums, i tried by shorting those two pins, nothing worked until now.

Anyone knows a solution for this or i can use it to chop vegetables on it ? ;)

Thanks, in advance !

Solved, disconnected battery red wire, shorted pins 8 and 9 and Windows sees it as "M3 Chip".

Hello sfxmaker, congratulations on getting your new tablet working properly and welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us here at Android Tablets. Enjoy that tablet and the forum!

BTW When you get a chance, please go to your profile and fill in the Tablet / Device entry. That way folks will know which tablet you have without you having to tell them every time.
